My tank

I've heated my home with oil since 2006, and there have been plenty of ups and downs in the market in that time. Sometimes I've called it right. I've also made some expensive mistakes, and sometimes you just have to buy oil when you need it rather than when the price is good.

I had a new tank and boiler put in a couple of years ago, and thanks to the wonders of modern technology I now get regular readings from a monitor, rather than dipping a stick into the old rectangular steel tank. This page is where I keep track of what I use and what I pay for it.
